Ingredients:

3 tablespoons heavy cream
-
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic

1/2 cup crumbled Gorgonzola or blue cheese

3 tablespoons mayonnaise
-
1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
-
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
-
1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
-
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

1 (6-inch) soft French baguette, split horizontally
-
1 sprig fresh thyme or pinch dried thyme leaves

3 slices Hormel® Natural Choice® Deli Roast Beef
Directions:

To make Gorgonzola Sauce, in small saucepan, cook cream and garlic 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in cheese, mayonnaise, parsley and Worcestershire sauce.

In small skillet, sauté onion in oil 5 minutes or until very soft. Add vinegar; cook 2 to 3 minutes longer.

Spread caramelized onion on bottom half of French bread. Top with thyme, roast beef and Gorgonzola Sauce. Cover with top half of French bread.
Notes:

One-half cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese or blue cheese can be used instead of the Gorgonzola Sauce.
