Breakfast Ham Biscuit with Mango Banana Chutney

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Herdez® Sliced Mangos
  • 1 cup banana slices
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 teaspoons ginger juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 1 (8-ounce) package Hormel® Natural Choice® Cooked Deli Ham
  • 4 buttermilk biscuits, split

Directions:

  1. In small saucepan, cook mangos, banana, brown sugar, water and coconut milk over low heat 20 minutes. Add orange juice and ginger juice. Cook 10 minutes longer or until mixture is syrup consistency. Remove from heat; cool. Stir in cilantro and orange peel.
  2. Place 4 slices ham on bottom half of each biscuit. Spoon 2 tablespoons chutney over each biscuit. Cover with biscuit top.

Notes:


  1. You can use prepared mango chutney in place of the homemade version.
