Turkey and Roasted Red Pepper Panini

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices country-style bread
  • 2 teaspoons mayonnaise
  • 2 slices Provolone cheese
  • 1 tablespoon mild olive oil
  • 4 slices Hormel® Natural Choice® Oven Roasted Deli Turkey
  • 2 tablespoons Peloponnese® Roasted Red Peppers Whole, thinly sliced

Directions:

  1. Heat panini maker or stovetop panini grill according to manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Brush one side of each slice bread with oil. Place bread, oil-side-down, on clean surface. Spread mayonnaise on each slice. Top 1 slice bread with 1 slice cheese, the turkey, roasted peppers and remaining slice cheese. Cover with remaining slice bread, oil-side-up.
  3. In panini maker, cook sandwich 3 to 5 minutes or until bread is browned and cheese is melted.

Notes:


  1. If you don't have a panini maker, you can use a nonstick skillet. Heat nonstick skillet on stovetop. Cook sandwich 3 to 4 minutes on each side, pressing gently with spatula or back side of another skillet.
