Grilled Turkey and Provolone Sandwiches

Ingredients:

  • 4 multigrain sandwich rolls, split
  • 4 ounces Provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup Peloponnese® Roasted Florina Sweet Pepper Strips, sliced
  • 1 (8-ounce) package Hormel® Natural Choice® Oven Roasted Deli Turkey
  • 2 tablespoons light olive oil

Directions:

  1. Heat griddle over medium-high heat or heat panini grill according to manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Layer bottom half of each roll with 1/4 each of roasted peppers, turkey, cheese, onion and spinach. Cover with top halves of rolls. Brush top and bottom of rolls with oil.
  3. On griddle, grill sandwiches, gently pressing together, 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Carefully turn sandwiches over. Grill 2 to 3 minutes longer or until rolls are lightly golden brown and cheese starts to melt.

Notes:


  1. If using a panini grill, cook sandwiches according to manufacturer's directions.
