Breakfast Ham Biscuit with Caribbean Mango Banana Chutney
PREP TIME: 5 MINUTES, SERVES 1
Tastes of the tropics are used to make this a breakfast you'll want to have over and over again. Banana and mango fruit provide wonderful aroma and color, while their sweet tart flavors bring out the juiciness and spice flavors of the ham. Put this all together with a creamy butter biscuit and this is a breakfast fit for a king.
2 slices HORMEL® NATURAL CHOICE™ Cooked Deli Ham, warmed
1 buttermilk biscuit, split
2 tablespoons PATAK'S® Sweet Mango Chutney or Caribbean Chutney*
Place ham on bottom half of biscuit. Spoon chutney over ham. Cover with biscuit top.

Caribbean Chutney
1 cup HERDEZ® Mango pieces
1 cup banana slices
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup water
2 tablespoons coconut milk
Juice of one orange
2 teaspoons ginger juice
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
1 teaspoon orange peel
In small saucepan over low heat, cook mango, banana, brown sugar, water and coconut milk 20 minutes. Add orange juice and ginger juice. Cook 10 minutes longer. When mixture has reached a syrup consistency, remove from heat and let cool. Stir in cilantro and orange peel.
