Created and tested at the Hormel Foods Studio H kitchen, the guide features five lunchtime staples: turkey, ham, bacon, carved chicken breast and beef, and provides basic pairing suggestions and recipes that will surprise and delight your taste buds. The pairings include cheeses, beverages, fruits, vegetables, spices, nuts, condiments and accompaniments, while the recipes focus on sweet, spicy and ethnic flavors.

Each recipe utilizes simple, fresh ingredients to complement the great taste of HORMEL® NATURAL CHOICE® meats, which are 100 percent natural with no preservatives, no artificial colors or flavors, and no nitrites or nitrates added. For the more adventurous among us, the guide offers details on how to recreate some of the suggested condiments and accompaniments from scratch. Helpful tips and facts are sprinkled throughout the guide, such as how to choose the tastiest apples or details on the origins of exotic ingredients, such as tamarind.
